Power Quality Improvement in Modular Multilevel Inverter Using for Different Multicarrier PWM

Pulse width modulation (PWM) is a powerful technique employed in analog circuit convert with microprocessor based digital output. Besides, Pseudo Random Multi Carrier (PRMC) involves two random PWM strategies to minimize the harmonic order for 9- level cascaded multilevel H-bridge (CHB) inverter and 9-level Modular Multilevel are introduced. The design mainly focuses on (Pulse Width Modulation) method, which nearest voltage levels approached estimated output prediction Partial swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm, it conveys variation pulse position of by Carrier- Modulation (PRMC-PWM). CHB inverters generate low distortion using PMRC. simulation prototype developed nine sixteen switches ten Resistive-Inductive (R-L) load condition. power quality improved (MoI) minimized harmonics various index (MI) as varied from 0.1 up 0.8. designed Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA), Implementing PSO algorithm both CHB, MoI proposed. comparisons results verified lower find best switching angle across MLI switches. furthermore investigates PRMC, Nearest (RNL) scheme presented, proposed along respective degree were synthesized non-linear development reactive motor load.
